COPENHAGEN and SACRAMENTO, CA, September 10th, 2018: Hugo Games (OMX: HUGO) is pleased to announce that it has signed a letter of intent to acquire California-based “5th Planet Games”.
5th Planet Games is a leading community-focused mobile and browser-based game company. It was founded in 2009 by owner Robert Winkler and consists of a 15-person team which is highly specialized in developing and publishing community-based mobile games – a type of game with a high degree of retention, monetization and user lifetime value.
The Sacramento-based game company has an impressive track record with several well-known games in its portfolio. Their best-known title is the smash-hit game “Dawn of the Dragons”, which has grossed over 27.7 million USD based on over 6.1 million downloads. 5th Planet Games is planning to release the highly awaited sequel “Dawn of the Dragons 2” in 2019.
Hugo Games CEO Henrik Nielsen is excited about teaming up with 5th Planet Games and calls the two companies “a perfect match”.

That’s why 5th Planet Games is able to uphold an ongoing steady revenue stream – a revenue stream that now will flow into the combined companies. 5th Planet Games presently has four games in its portfolio – Tap Cat 9 Lives, Age of Heroes, Curio Quest and Dawn of the Dragons.
