Hugo Games receives milestone payment from Chinese app publisher
COPENHAGEN, February 5th. 2018: Mobile games publisher and developer Hugo Games A/S (OAX: HUGO) is pleased to report that it is now receiving a planned milestone payment from its Chinese strategic partner Sharetimes Ltd.
Hugo Games teamed up with Sharetimes in 2016 and the Chinese app publisher is responsible for the localization and distribution of the soccer star game “Cristiano Ronaldo: Kick’n’Run” on the Chinese market.
The exact amount of the payment will not be disclosed, but Hugo Games’ CEO Henrik Nielsen is satisfied because the milestone payment shows that the development and launch of the game in China is moving forward.
“It is very satisfying to see Hugo Games move into the huge and important Chinese market, and we look forward to go grow even further in China both with Sharetimes on the “Cristiano Ronaldo: Kick’n’Run” game and also later on with some of the other exciting game launches we will see from Hugo Games in 2018,” says Henrik Nielsen.
The game “Cristiano Ronaldo: Kick’n’Run” is an action packed endless runner mobile game featuring the Portuguese soccer star. So far it has been downloaded more than 10 million times globally.
In 2018 Hugo Games will also make World Wide launches of the following games “Kings of Soccer”, “Doodle Jump 2”, “Nyjah Huston #Skatelife” and a game based on the hit TV show “Vikings”.
The milestone payment from Sharetimes does not change any of the company’s previously announced information.
